Ted D. Louis-Jacques

Ted D. Louis-Jacques is the CEO and co-founder of Commonwealth Office Supply, LLC. (COS) In his role, Ted is responsible for leading the development, execution and day-to-day management of COS’ long and short-term plans and strategy.

With over 6-year experience in supporting community driven business solutions and opportunities in the Malden community in Massachusetts, Ted was integral in establishing many community growth and development initiatives such as Mayor Gary J. Christenson’s Internship Program and the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program, which today continues to hire over 250 youth each summer.

As a specialist in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, Ted’s service includes a tour of duty in Kuwait with the 1060th Transportation Company in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Ted is the founder of Malden Rising Leaders Inc. (MRL) which is a nonprofit organization whose focus is youth leadership and development through scholarship support and mentoring. Its mission is to support the Malden’s young leaders to engage, organize and advance their community’s development, by advocating on behalf of families. MRL provides yearly scholarships to Malden High School graduating seniors to further their studies in the fields of education, public service, and entrepreneurship.

Ted is also a Fellow at the Howard Rye Institute (HRI), a nine-month intensive training initiative focused on developing the next generation of civic and political leaders, which operates as a part of the Union of Minority Neighborhoods (UMN).

For the last six years, Ted has volunteered as assistant coach and mentor for the boys’ basketball team and as head coach for the Malden Neighborhood Basketball League.

Ted is a proud father to his son Jeremiah D. Louis-Jacques. Ted currently resides in Malden where he has lived with his family for the past 18 years.

Ted D. Louis-Jacques holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from Mount Ida College where he served as President for the Class of 2011, and a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security and Emergency Management (magna cum laude) from Central Texas College.
